The Działdowszczyzna Ecological Municipal Association operates in the southern part of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, on the border with the Mazovian region. As part of another successful tender, CONTENUR will supply 8,000 120-litre bins for the separate collection of glass. This is yet another project for the Działdowszczyzna Ecological Municipal Association, demonstrating the customer's continued confidence in CONTENUR products and its service quality. Bins are increasingly replacing bags
In many municipalities, traditional bags for glass collection are gradually being replaced by bins. Glass is one of the heaviest waste fractions, meaning that full bags can be difficult to handle and are susceptible to damage during transport and collection.
Bags that split or tear can cause broken glass to spill out, increasing the risk of cuts and making waste collection more difficult for operators. Wheeled bins, on the other hand, help to significantly reduce these problems, providing greater safety and convenience for both residents and municipal waste collection teams.
Durable labelling and ease of use
The bins supplied will feature the Działdowszczyzna Ecological Municipal Association's logo and a clearly visible ‘GLASS’ label. This makes it easier for residents to identify the intended use of each bin and sort their waste correctly.
The labelling is designed to remain legible throughout an extended period of use, helping to communicate the principles of separate waste collection effectively. The bins themselves offer a convenient solution for residents, who can dispose of glass safely, as well as for operators using standardised loading systems.
