The use of the side-loading system serves to optimise waste segregation by towns and cities. Thanks to the mechanisation of the process, the containers are emptied extremely quickly and the capacity of 2,000 to 3,000 litres makes it possible to reduce the frequency of waste collection. All this reduces the cost of the service. The designers of the CONTENUR OVAL series have also focused on design, resulting in products with a timeless look that fit perfectly into urban spaces and can be used as an alternative to underground containers: providing a large volume in a small area without the need for earthworks at the construction stage.
The 1.6-metre height means that the containers do not obstruct the view of pedestrians walking through the urban space. The CONTENUR engineers envisaged convenient opening of the container lid, with the option of facilitating access for people with disabilities. Optional electronic equipment is available to restrict unauthorized access to the containers. The products are made of HDPE polyethylene, which is 100% recyclable at the end of its life, and are certified to EN 170001 and EN 12574 standards.
