Inoveco, CONTENUR’s distributor in Romania, has installed new 80-litre capacity rear-loading containers in the municipality of Galati, located in the eastern part of the country, on the border with Ukraine and Moldova. This Romanian city has more than 300,000 inhabitants and is the eighth most populous city in Romania, as well as being an important economic centre for the whole country.
A total of 44,000 units of the 80-litre rear-loading container were supplied for separate waste collection in the entire municipality. The colours chosen were grey, blue, yellow and green, corresponding to the type of waste to be recycled.
The incorporation of this new container model in the collection route of the city of Galati has been very well received by the citizens and has led to an increase in the number of waste collection points.
