The Poleco trade fair took place in Poznan (Poland) on 17, 18 and 19 October. With more than 7,000 square meters of exhibition space, it is considered a key event for the environmental protection and municipal management industry in Poland. During the three-day event, attendees were able to visit municipal management companies, recovery organisations and waste treatment and management plants, and container manufacturers. The program also included events, lectures and presentations aimed at a wide audience and in line with market trends: innovation, recycling and sustainability.
CONTENUR exhibited its solutions on a 50 m2 stand with a revamped image focused on sustainability and care for the environment. The customers who visited us were able to see in situ the range of two- and four-wheel rear-loading containers manufactured locally at our production center in Mielec. A very wide range of products with a large number of accessories and customization possibilities that make recycling easier for citizens. As a novelty, this year’s exhibition included a side-loading container model OVAL, a very new system for the Polish market, which aroused great interest among the visitors of the fair.
ZŁOTY MEDAL POLECO 2023 Awards
The OVAL side-loading container with a capacity of 2000 l won the ZŁOTY MEDAL 2023 Gold Medal at the POLECO exhibition. The award was presented on Tuesday 17th and was collected by members of the Polish team, Bernadeta Kieszek and Zięciak Michał.
The side-loading system ensures fast and safe emptying of the containers (thanks to the mechanization of the process), reduces the frequency of waste collection, thanks to the capacities of 2000 and 3000 liters. The design of the OVAL container allows it to fit perfectly into urban spaces and provides an alternative to underground containers, thanks to its large volume and small footprint, without the need for earthworks during the construction phase.
